I was lucky earlier in life to have worked with my dad in medical supply sales.  He was one of those great thinkers but lived in an era where formal education meant elementary school and higher education was going to high school. 

That limited exposure to education did not stop him from getting a job back then.  He started as a truck driver, delivering orders to the medical profession.  It didn't stop him from advancing through the ranks to become the VP of Sales with a sales team of 3.  He managed to produce a great living and a great life style for our family.

Boy did that sting.  And it stung for a long time.  However, I learned a valuable lesson.  Always think first, especially before you talk.  Do I still make mistakes today, you bet.  But I have managed to develop a system, a routine that lets me quickly think through things before I...open my mouth...and remove the doubt...!
